What is “Art on Wheels”?

Mix & Mingle at the 2017 “Art on Wheels” Community Friend Raiser & Art Auction at the Bickford Collection Truck Museum to Benefit the Bickford Education Center

The museum has over 40 vintage trucks and antique vehicles from Erv Bickford’s beloved collection. Filled with memorabilia, the museum is a treat for antique truck aficionados and fun for all ages. Make memories by being photographed with an antique truck and enjoy the thrill of seeing them in action.

“Art on Wheels” is an exhibition of artwork inspired by the collection. Local artists have generously donated their work to be auctioned off in support of the Bickford Education Center (bec), a non-profit community organization that raises money for its experiential education programs by offering art classes and studio memberships through Artascope in Yarmouth.

You can bid on artists’ work at the silent auction while enjoying a Family BBQ, live music, and more! We will be here, rain or shine.  A preview of artwork will be shown at various venues from mid-August to mid-September throughout Yarmouth, including The Yarmouth History CenterMerrill Memorial Library, and Artascope at bec.
